Chanukah Skypefest

What would our ancestors think if they could see today's Internet technology?

Could they believe that their grandchildren and greatgrandchildren -- spread around the world -- could reunite for Chanukah 2006 to celebrate the holiday and get to know one another?

That is our plan.  Please mark you calendars for Sunday, December 17, 2006 for a planned Klodawa holiday party on the Internet.  We will use Skype and/or other available technologies (to be determined) to be able to speak with and -- ideally -- see one another.

The Internet party is scheduled for noon New York Time, so that Klodawa descendants in every time zone can participate.  We will light a Chanukah menorah, spin a dreidel or two  and share our family histories.  Please spread the word and plan to join us!

I have not tested out my "reply" ability lately, so here goes. Yes, I will be on the phone December 17, 2006 at noon, for the 2006 "Skypefest". I'm looking forward to talking to you all!
